Dr Channa Weerasekara

Dr Channa Weerasekara is an Australian Specialist General Practitioner with over six years of experience in general practice and more than 13 years of postgraduate clinical experience.

Originally from Sri Lanka, he completed his medical degree in Sri Lanka and now practises in Australia.

His experience includes emergency medicine, anaesthetics, paediatrics, women’s health, rural medicine, and aged care. Dr Weerasekara has a strong interest in chronic disease management, minor surgical procedures, and pain management.

He speaks English and Sinhala and provides culturally sensitive, patient-centred care.
